Waikanae Mountain Bike Rides Wednesday nights
Everyone welcome. Non competitive. Leaving from Waikanae Cycles at 6.00pm. Ride down the river cross at Otaihanga and to the mountain bike park. Back for a beer or cuppa at Waikanae Cycles, 3 Parata Street, Waikanae.
Kapiti MTBikers, ride every every alternate Saturday & Sundays, 8.30am
Every weekend. Further details and signal intention to ride at www.kapitimtbikers.blogspot.com Open to all fitness levels! Register your interest on the blog: those who turn up at the meeting spot organise themselves. Other rides can be posted, and participants can add their comments on the rides.
Waikanae Cycling Group
This group rides the whole district even as far as Manukau North of Otaki. They meet each Saturday afternoon @ 1:30pm and new faces are always welcome. So get on their email list by emailing g.i.kaywood@xtra.co.nz or phone 04 293 7898.
